Does CPU overclocking void warranty?

If you're using overclockable CPU and mobo, most likely no.

Edit: However I believe this doesn't apply to excessive overclocking and cause either CPU or mobo fried

Theoreticall yes(also not definite it's a grey zone), in reality you cant proof it, so no. Also neither intel or amd wont replace your processor even though you overclocked it once, if it wasn't damaged in that process. So on intel just dont go past 1.4V

Doesn't Intel offer an overclocking warranty? On CyberPower PC you can add an Intel warranty that replaces the CPU if it dies from overclocking.

Intel does not honor your warranty for using a third party cooler anyway (except probably for said qualified processors of the protection plan), so there's that.

Well its unlikely you'll kill a CPU in this day and age however I guess its useful if you're going to be OCing the ape shit outta your CPU

Stay in safe ranges for voltage and you will be fine. Other components will die before CPU.

And if your CPU acctually dies, just send it back to warranty and say that it's not working and you have no idea why. Act a little dumb, and if they ask you if you OCed it, simply say: "what's that?".
