Is there any cheap Linux laptops

Hi guys, I am recently looking for a Linux laptop for school work so I can mess around on Linux, but I don't want to use windows since I already got windows on my main system. I need something that can be sort of a stream machine but also something that can last for a good amount of time with long battery. And has Wi-Fi

What does "cheap" mean in this context?  IE  budget?

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Chrome book with intel CPU is your best bet. The only thing to really research is the wifi card.

Go to different manufactures websites and look at what they offer for OS options. I know HP offers Ubuntu along with SUSE and Red Hat. If you want to go with Unix, they offer Solaris as an option.

There is nothing that has linux preinstalled on it besides a chrome book.

They are not cheap, but the Dell Developer Edition XPS notebooks come with Ubuntu and then there is system76, who only ship computers with Ubuntu, but even if they don't ship with Linux Dell laptops do pretty well with it in general

Could just buy a cheap laptop and put Linux on it for free.

That will probably be your best bet.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

Any used ThinkPad, elite book or latitude with Linux compatibility. Google specific models to find whether it's Linux capable.
