Is Internet getting cheaper?

Since i live in a small town in Texas. We pay around $80 for 60/5

That's just internet? No cable or phone right? I have it packaged (Yeah, I actually have a house phone *shrugs*). If it was just internet it would be roughly the same, but with more upload bandwidth. I believe Cox charges $69 plus fees, taxes and blah blah totaling $78 or so for a 50/10 unlimited (so the speeds never change regardless of how much data is transferred, like they do where he lives in India.

Yes. We can stream in 1080p or 4k all day if we like. Not sure about you, but I fall asleep watching YouTube or Netflix all the time. I download most of my games. Heh, download 2 games and he is pretty much at his limit. Yikes.

Yeah but for a whole small family 100GB should last until last week of the month so 3-6 days with less speed. Even for a good internet user 300GB should last until last week of the month so should use that 2 MBPS for remaining 3-6 days.

2 years ago paid $100 Aud for 13mbps im now paying the same price for this use around 1TB a month sometimes a bit more only 2 ppl.

Better than me. I just sent in a complaint as I am only getting 69-70 down and 45 up, with a ping of 11 or so. Not cool.

Yea congestion is a common problem over here too that's why i scribbled out my isp, this is my 3rd isp because of it lol.

You are not kidding right? 1TB for just 100$ AUD and that too 100MBPS! That is a very good deal. Is it a Multi User Plan? My ISP only mentions download speed and upload speed is around 45-80 MBPS! It is more than download speed even when the speed is at 1MBPS.

1TB On peak and 1TB Off peak. You can get unlimited from $60 but it's generally congested to the point of unusable.

Yea 100/40, you can get 200/100 for like $260 1.2TB. This isn't everywhere though I'm lucky i have FTTP which is pretty rare here.

Haha i can see why you think its a good deal but i think it's horrible in my eyes when NewZealand can provide 1Gbps for just $120 Aud unlimited.
