I wouldn't call it AAA title as in it's not made with the budgets those big titles have, but it's very good and polished.... try SOMA : http://store.steampowered.com/app/282140/

.. it's not very horror as amnesia, but it gives you something to think about if you get into it.

If you enjoy platformers, I can also recommend Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition , it's a very good game : http://store.steampowered.com/app/387290/

It's not horror and you'll sleep just fine every night. Think of it like a thriller movie. It has a few scary moments  but it wasn't designed to be a horror game.  A lot of people simply assumed it's horror due to Frictional Games' track record (they made only horror games, Penumbra and Amnesia) and hyped the game a lot as horror but really it's not that scary.

It has a nice story and some twists and you have to make some decisions that are interesting (but don't affect the game, there aren't multiple endings or stuff like that) but otherwise it's a pretty linear game you can finish in a few hours if you stick to it.

It's worth playing it and I highly recommend giving it a shot.

If you're into shooters, you may want to try Metro 2033 and the follow up Metro 2033 Last Light , both linear but quite nice.

It's kinda old but if you didn't experience it I'd really recommend playing STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl  and the other STALKER games in the series, but only with the STALKER Complete mod which improves the game A LOT ... it adds a huge amount of atmosphere to the game ... ambient sounds, shadows, weather effects, lightning effects (sun rays through fog, stars, lightning strikes, clouds) and fixes a huge amount of bugs in the base games.

Since when playing a great game is being a fanboy?

I wasnt a bethesda fanboy but I played Skyrim and it was great.

And if you like open world games and/or good stories, fallout new vegas is a good option (but since you disliked the witcher 3, I guess you dont like this type of games)

Have you tried shadow of mordor? It was fun for me, just not my style. Lots of ppl seen to like it tough.

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.

I see.

Maybe check out Bastion and Transistor if that style of games is to your liking? Both have great soundtrack and voices but Transistor in particular has excellent music and interesting game mechanic ...

If you're into point and click adventure games, I'd recommend checking out Syberia games (1 and 2) ... nice story and graphics with some puzzles.

If you want a short game (a few hours) with great graphics and a bit of puzzles (putting "events" in order by clicking on things) , see The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

If you want games like Diablo (rpg with clicking a lot, health and mana potions and some customizing of weapons and armors) see Torchlight series.

Good platformers that's worth checking out would be Trine and Trine 2 .. you switch between three playable characters each with particular skills to advance through maps, it has very nice graphics, and it's enjoyable. They're a bit like Ori but not quite, you should give them a try, you may like them.

If you want some plain shooter / sniper without horror, check out Sniper Elite series. It's linear, just advancing through maps with your sniper weapon.

You may like Max Payne 3 .. Max Payne 1 and 2 are nice if you haven't played them (they introduce slow time mechanic like in Matrix) but they're sort of buggy on new computers and  it's not easy to play them wide screen (well at least the first one)

Check out Hotline Miami ... it's different,fast.. can be annoying at some points (dying too fast)..  that's all i can say

If you haven't played them , check out Bioshock 1 and Bioshock Infinite.

ok i think that's enough games...
