thinking of getting it but heard about some issues a year ago when it came out with some failing power supplies, so kind of wary but the price and feature set and the fact that i can just drive 20 minutes to ikea and pick one up or easily get replacement parts seems nice and convenient

Look at Jerry's (barnacles) video. He said it was quite good

Laptop: HP Pavilion 15 'Gaming' - Intel Core i7 6700HQ - 16GB RAM - 480GB SSD - NVIDIA GeForce 950M 4GB - Half Decent 15.6" 1920x1080 Display

 

Desktop: Currently non existent

It also says it has a 10 year warranty so any problems you could just get a replacement, and you would may want a new desk before 10 years is up anyway.
