Looks ok, though you probably don't need such a good mobo.

Hey, before you buy anything i would honestly recommend upgrading your GPU before CPU.

the 960 isnt that powerful and i would upgrade to a 1070 and then down the line get a used 4770k or 4790k for gaming.

I am playing Minecraft, TF2, and SW Battlefront at 1440p. Settings don't really matter unless it is low. I want a better mobo for the features, and i might just get white or black/white extensions from cablemod. Will Ryzen 5 also do better with faster ram? Is this better?

My 960 is good enough for what I do, but I want to use CPU encoding instead of NVENC. NVENC looks the same in normal screen recording but it looks a lot worse in games.

Ok,

So maybe not a 1070.

Minecraft will defiantly perform better but im not too sure about the rest of the games (Battlefront may have some trouble at 1440p on your 960.)

Right. then this looks good. You're sure about the nVidia recording? My recording looks pretty good when i set it to high.

curious as to why you changed your psu? the b2 is not a bad unit

EDIT lol just saw the reason nvm.

Its really a side step psu wise. Would just get some black extensions to hide the ketchup and mustard. OR sharpie them linus style.
