EVGA has a stellar customer service reputation, something ASUS has been sorely lacking in over the past few years.

Ok thanks so much

yea I've heard ASUS has bad support and EVGA doesn't but when I contacted ASUS for something I got a nice person and they helped me very quickly, but that was probably my luck because I have heard a lot of bad customer support issues with ASUS

Both are top of the line, both have one of the highest end hardware available and I personally put both above MSi, however every brand also have it's flaws and issues, nothing is perfect especially in the world of very complex electronics :P

So in the end it simply doesn't matter which is better and most of the argues here could potentially end up fanboyism which leads no where, but for what is worth EVGA does have a remarkable costumer service, but I would never buy a motherboard that isn't Asus.

All comes down to preferences, better avoid the flame wars and simply be happy with what you have without doing those silly PCMR with your friends.

i would say as for quality wise asus and evga are basically equal but evga does have the better reputation when t comes to customer support. that being said i would say there is merit in going with either of the brands as they are both good make good products.

idk if you look at some of their budget psu i can think of some. but its almost impossible to never make a mistake just look at their 10 series gpus design. that being said their response to the bad design was probably the best ive seen form a company in a long time.

EVGA has better customer support but after dealing with Power Color shit any company for me now would be better

As for GPU, the ASUS strix has been consistently good overall, with their top of the line 1080 card beating almost every other card in the market for temperature and noise

Oh, you haven't heard of the 970's Heatpipe misalignment and the 1070's lack of VRM cooling? Not to say other companies are perfect, they sure make mistakes from time to time... just like EVGA.

With Asus is you have to know what know your stuffs to get a RMA from them. Cause most of the time they want to make sure there isn't something wrong.
