Wrong PSU voltage

i accidentally switched my psu's volt to 115v and plugged it to a 220v socket, it sparks but does that mean it killed my entire rig?...or will my pc gonna run if i switch it back to 230v?. The psu is Huntkey 450w 80+ need fast response thanks in advance.

It depends on what model the power supply is, a very bad one which I believe it could be since all power supplies these days have automatic voltage switchers and I don't know this brand at all then there's the possibility it damaged other components... you can throw the power supply unit on the garbage already since it's dead for good but you'll only know about the components when you power them up using another one.

Its probably dead, but you can try it on 230v(try it with the paperclip trick before a pc.

 

Also if it ha a voltage switch the psu is crap, get a betterone anyways

Common sense would dictate to get another power supply and test the system with that before considering using that power supply again.

Switch it to 230v and try turning it on with a paperclip?

I did it once; it blew a fuse or something which was repaired easily.
