The rest of the system is as follows: i7 6900K 64Gb DDR4 3200Mhz GTX 1080Ti 960 Pro SSD The system will be used as a 3D workstation and gaming machine, and will be seriously overclocked (fully watercooled). My question is: Is there anything, anything at all, that the Rampage V 10 offers over the Strix, for my configuration and use? Posted April 5, 2017 I don't know if ASUS resolved the issue regarding to QA / defective X99 StriX motherboards...but that was the MAIN reason I backed my way out of it when I was picking out the parts of my X99 build -- and ended up getting the X99 Deluxe II instead. The StriX and Rampage are both part of the R.O.G. line-up, but the StriX being the lower end alternative.
