Hello! I am wanting to play the latest games at a solid fps with 4k gaming. I want the computer to be as cheap and as powerful as possible. My current rig is a screenshot below,

This computer is a prebuilt acer aspirewhich has a sky-lake motherboard. As I'm age 16 I am not considering building computers untill I am older as I find it more convienient but I discovered a website which sells extreme computers and I saw an offer for £2,599.00 with the current specs:Excluding tax: £2,165.83

Prepare for maximum 4K gaming enjoyment, with the brutal power of GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti graphics on an X99 platform.

  • Intel® Core™ i7 6800K [OC] processor
  • Corsair Hydro H100i V2 water cooler
  • Corsair 32GB Vengeance LED DDR4 3200mhz RAM
  • NVIDIA™ GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti 11GB graphics card
  • Samsung 500GB M.2
  • 1TB hard drive
  • Asus ROG STRIX X99 GAMING motherboard
  • Windows 10
  • Corsair Crystal 570X RGB case
  • Corsair 750W RMx fully modular PSU
  • 5 year warranty

This computer also includes

Limited time exclusive offers:

  • FREE! Intel® Triple Bundle - Get Halo 2 and two more games with purchase of Intel® "K" series Core™ i5 or i7 processors
  • FREE! NVIDIA™ Prepare For Battle - Get ready for battle with GeForce®GTX graphics cards and get a free blockbuster game, either For Honor or Ghost Recon: Wildlands
  • FREE! Gigabyte Gaming K83 keyboard + XM300 mouse (Worth £95)
  • FREE! UK mainland delivery

Now this website is a lead business in London and claims that this computer can game at 4k. Now is this true? Would the computer handle the newest games well at 4k Ultra-Wide, Is it cheaper to build it yourself?

- Best regards if you are to help, but also thanks for taking your time in reading!

- I would also like to mention that my computer doesn't have the best cooling and my CPU reaches over 80 degrees regular and my GPU reaches mostly 90

Yes, it can game at 4k. Computers with lesser spec can as well.

It all depends on what settings you can live with.

Why do you want a whole new system then?

All you need to get is the 1080Ti and a 4K monitor. The rest of your specs are more than capable of running 4K.

4k is still heavy to run, but the Ti can definitely do it. Best thing to do is to check some benchmarks and decide if you find that enough fps. You can also always turn down some settings.

@LinusTechTipsFanFromDarlo My computer cooling is very poor and I do not know how to improve it, being a pebuilt computer from acer I don't know my way around it at all

Why don't you buy a case with good airflow and transfer the system into that.
