Best program for playing music?

Go to solution Solved by noahdvs,

foobar2000 is simply the best. It's super customizable, can be made to have tons of functionality and look very pretty, it's very lightweight by default, it can be installed as a portable app and it can play nearly any kind of audio.

Looking for a program that is well organized, and preferably where I can set a designated folder that always shows in the app.

iTunes is basically shit and doesn't even have basic features such as automatic audio device switch (if I plug in my USB headphones, and plug them out, i have to restart itunes to use the internal speakers)...

Main PC: 4690k // Z97 // R9 280 3GB // 8gb Ram // CM Elite 430 Case // 750 EVGA B PSU // 1TB HDD

Living Room "Console" PC: FX 8350 // 990a SLI Krait // R7 360 // 8gb Ram // HAF 912 // 750 EVGA B PSU // 1TB HDD

Future Plans:

find a 2nd monitor at a pawn shop

Sell/giveaway R7 360, move r9 280 into console PC, buy a better GPU for main PC.

I've been using Google Play Music Desktop Player for a while and I love it but I know that some people don't like it.
