I play a lot of FPS games, and am in need of a keyboard suitable for gaming that is as quiet as possible. I currently have a Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Silent switches, but even these are pretty loud when I'm in the heat of gaming.

The Razer Deathstalker seems like a candidate, but unfortunately I need it in a UK keyboard layout.

Appreciate any recommendations!

Thanks

grab a pack of O-rings and see if that helps, quietd down my K70 quite a bit. stay away from Razer, the switches are garbage

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

avoid anything razer for quality purposes, try Corsair Strafe RGB

Hrmmm....not wanting to defend my purchases or razer but hey, my Razer BW 2013 is still working like the day I bought it :P

I mean all the LEDs work, all the keys work, not a single issue with it in fact...

Maybe some people needs to stop

To be fair, it does have cherry switches soooooo...

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Thanks for your recommendations on modifying my Corsair Strafe RGB Silent, but unfortunately with o-rings it is still too noisy with people in the same room, even in the next room when trying to sleep.

I have a cheap keyboard with reds, and its pretty quiet.  The loudest part is when you let go of a key and it snaps back up.  I don't type very hard since I'm used to working on laptop keyboards most of the time.

SFF-ish:  Ryzen 5 1600X, Asrock AB350M Pro4, 16GB Corsair LPX 3200, Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro -75mV, 512gb Plextor Nvme m.2, 512gb Sandisk SATA m.2, Cryorig H7, stuffed into an Inwin 301 with rgb front panel mod.  LG27UD58.

Aging Workhorse:  Phenom II X6 1090T Black (4GHz #Yolo), 16GB Corsair XMS 1333, RX 470 Red Devil 4gb (Sold for $330 to Cryptominers), HD6850 1gb, Hilariously overkill Asus Crosshair V, 240gb Sandisk SSD Plus, 4TB's worth of mechanical drives, and a bunch of water/glycol.  Coming soon:  Bykski CPU block, whatever cheap Polaris 10 GPU I can get once miners start unloading them.

MintyFreshMedia:  Thinkserver TS130 with i3-3220, 4gb ecc ram, 120GB Toshiba/OCZ SSD booting Linux Mint XFCE, 2TB Hitachi Ultrastar.  In Progress:  3D printed drive mounts, 4 2TB ultrastars in RAID 5.
