Server board for xeon l5420 socket 771

Hi there,

I am in a bit of a misery.

I need a server board for the Xeon L5420.

The website Intel ark tells : Intel s5000 palr is compatible with the CPU.

But when I look at the specs of the board it says, that only dual core CPUs are supported.

What should I do and can you suggest another board for around 70 euros / dollars ?

do you want desktop feature like audio, more usb ports?

What networking do you need?

why do you want a lga 771 board?

Is dual socket ok?

What ram type do you want

What board size?

Sorry for the bad information

I want a dual Xeon board

Ram: I take what is needed

Board size is no matter as well I build a huge case by myself. Even eatx would fit .

Lga 771 is cheap as far as I know

For Audio, wlan I will buy cheap expansion cards.
