q6600 or even a dual-core

if you only wanna use new, go for a g4560 + h110 mobo, but it may not be updated

alongside a rx 460

a cheap quad core such as q6600 would be better than most dual cores, since some games won't even boot with a dual core cpus.

csgo is a game that doesn't utilise more than 3 cores, so it doesn't exactly matter much

idk

i built my pc for about $120 with the 4gb kit of ram and $140 if you include the 10gb of ram i have now. I got all used parts, a quad core xeon 3.4ghz cpu, r7 250, 10gb of ram, and a 60gb ssd for that. The used market is the best way to go for this. I dont play csgo but i have played similar games like tf2 and i get like 300 fps, sooooooo ya. i dont have the specific parts by memory but they are on my profile. just look around the used pc market and see what you can find, their are some great deals out there

to make it more clear heres a list of what you need to check the prices and availability in ur area on the secound hand market

CPU: core quad q6600 - i personaly still use it - great budget CPU

MB: anything socket 775 with 4 dimms for ram (that suppots the cpu ofc) will do the trick

Ram: ddr2 2 gb sticks are everywhere and they are cheap

GPU: here depends on how much you want to spend -

- if its as low as possible i would recommend gtx 260 or some amd card (sorry dont know their older lines)

- if you can spend extra cash look for stuff like gtx 660 and so on wich will allow you to play much newer games

PSU: depends on the GPU but better not to cheap out here and buy something quality (best still new)

HDD: whatever you need want and can find for whatever you want to spend

SSD: NO need - wont speed up cs go so its usless

Case: even the cheapest one will do.

Thats it - now you need to do some parts hunting ;)

If you have the extra buck and want some new, and somewhat AAA Game capable PC, This might also be interesting to you. :) If you are lucky you can also always look for a cheap used system. :)
