I don't have keys for XP and Server 2012 R2, but you can mess around with both for free. XP will give you a 30 day trial and Server 2012 will just put a watermark on the bottom right of your screen (I've run my server for a year like that). I do have keys for 2000 and 98.

alright ill do 98 and 2000. Its not illegal or anything right to get keys? And also what do i do after i have the key?

No, it's not illegal. There are many places online to get them as they're now considered abandonware. I'll PM you links to the ISO images.

Id say XP/Windows 7. XP was good for its time, was stable and offered great features like a big ass driver database. Windows 7 because it was fast and it was very stable. The worst is Windows ME. I never had an ME machine, a buddy did. He said his computer would forget it had some hardware. He said, it would for get it had a cd rom. Then remember hours later. Or forget it had a video card. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Hmm another person with bad ME experiences. I had WONDERFUL experiences with Windows ME.

although I like win 10 (I have never had any major issues with it, don't get me wrong there is issues with it, but I have no major ones with it, and had no problems with it) I think my favourite was win 7 as it just worked, or just casue it's so stupid hanna montana linux or justin biebere linux (I think it's ubuntu (can't remember for sure if it's ubuntu though) with a custom skin to suit each one of the two, it is terrible to use

 

most nostalgic is XP, as it was amazing

I don't think it looks dated... it just looks busy and too flashy. But I guess that's something of opinion (should the chrome be flashy or should the chrome be unassuming and blend in?)

The best in its day, and the pinnacle of power-user design, I'd say, was Vista. You just had to have a good enough PC for it (like I did). All-around best, still now, I'd say is 7. XP was good, as well.

 

The positives of Windows 10 are offset by too much bloatware, invasive spying and data-collection, a bad UI, in-OS ads, etc. The actual OS is buried beneath layers of garbage.

I will start with my experiences chronologically sorted (without server versions):
3.1 - Did not have any problems with it. It was highly depended on DOS

 

95 - Still has my favorite startup sound.Worked pretty much stable

 

98 & 98SE - This version is not in my good memory. On several computers that I've used I was getting BSOD every time when I tried to thinker with something, but during the normal operation it was fine for the most of the time. I also remember that in order to avoid asking for the installation CD every time when trying to add some Windows features one should copy the installation files to the HDD and execute it from there

 

ME - complete crap

 

2000 - it was fine and stable but hugely unsupported by popular games at that time. Had a dual boot with 98 for some time

 

XP - first Windows that worked stable for me and it was widely supported by applications. After SP 1 it was pleasure to work on it

 

Vista - good idea, terrible execution. It was super resource hungry version of the Windows. 

 

7 - the first Windows which was great from the start. Even Alpha versions were better than Vista. Since it's release, the support for older application was great, drivers written for Vista worked and visuals were great

 

8/8.1 - apart that some people hate it because of the interface, under the hood it was a great OS. I did not mind the GUI that much but eg. integrated hyper-v support was great for development. Stability wise, never had any issues

 

10 - I am currently using several versions. Two LTSB ones and regular Pro one. They are bit annoying with constant updates for Pro version and with OneDrive (some registry hacks can solve that problem easily. I've written a script which decrapifies Win 10) but all in all I think it is a good OS. Spying can be easily blocked on my external firewall and addition of Bash in the Anniversary update was a great touch
