WHY SC EDITION HAVE 241.4GT/s Texture Fill Rate

 

Because its overclocked?

 

Texture Fill Rate = (# of TMUs) x (core clock), the OC version has a higher clock, therefor more texture fill rate.

Yes I'm sure, that's how GPU's work...you can overclock them.

I don't need a source, this is common knowledge....

You might not get the same results as the SC card though.  SC's cards tend to be cherry picked (as in they are the best ones in regards the silicone lottery) so they can clock higher and stay stable.

oh come on, now i just want the source that says the SC edition are cherry picked

The SC cards are guaranteed to achieve those clock speeds and will have been tested for them, but some of the vanilla cards are capable of the same if not more, it really is just a lottery.

 

But if you want that guaranteed slight increase SC is the way to go with EVGA.

I don't know how do you expect that a chip will be clocked higher? Because of a divine intervention and a resulting miracle?
