WHY SC EDITION HAVE 241.4GT/s Texture Fill Rate

 

Because its overclocked?

 

Texture Fill Rate = (# of TMUs) x (core clock), the OC version has a higher clock, therefor more texture fill rate.

That new Black ACX design is sex. SEX!!!!

Well, if it works at higher clock speeds, it also does more. (fills more textures)

It's like saying why does one worker shovel 10 wheelbarrows/hour and the other 11, even if they use the same shovels? Well, one of them was on Red Bull.

Yes.

If you can OC it as far as the super clocked card that is.

That is all the SC is, a pre-overclocked card, you pay alittle extra for the knowledge that its a stable overclock on the card and that its been tested etc to be working correctly.

Yes I'm sure, that's how GPU's work...you can overclock them.

I don't need a source, this is common knowledge....

You might not get the same results as the SC card though.  SC's cards tend to be cherry picked (as in they are the best ones in regards the silicone lottery) so they can clock higher and stay stable.

The SC stands for SuperClocked, which is EVGA's way of saying overclocked.....

The SC card should be binned, that's why it can be factory overclocked. It also meeans it still has yet more headroom to OC than non SC's chip.
