Cant use with my monitor 144hz with 1080 ti ?

Hi first. I want buy monitor:  G-Master GB2488HSU-B3 Red Eagle [1ms, 144Hz, FreeSync]

 

But on Iijama site ,they said this:"

But 1080 ti dont have dual link DVI. So how can i plug 1080 ti using 144hz on this monitor? So i cant yes? what a mess

Displayport will work fine.

The monitor has DisplayPort connection, 1080Ti does too. Use that.

EDIT: Yea, that might not work then. Some custom cards may come with DVI port, but no promises.

On the other hand, you don't need 1080Ti to get 144Hz at 1080p - you could get away with GTX 1080.

Because a lot of people still uses DVI and 90percent of the DVI cables out there are single link, you on the other hand are going to be using DisplayPort already so it doesn't matter.

I wouldn't buy that monitor, it's freesync and you're using a 1080ti, seems a waste. I'm also not sure if it will run 144hz with an nv card, I read somewhere that they needed freesync (AMD) to bump up to 144hz (maybe wrong)

 

Lastly, please don't go 1080ti with a 1080P screen, if money is the issue go with a 1080 + a good 1440P screen

Honestly, my Predator X34 (3440x1440 100hz) feels like a bottleneck for most games with a 1080 Ti... Don't bother with a 1080 Ti for anything under 2560x1440 144hz.

If you are going to use a 1080p monitor with that card, get this or its Asus version

But a higher resolution would still be better IMO. Maybe even check out the new 4k monitor at 144hz (Can't seem to find them for sale yet)

4k 144hz from asus is coming later this year. other manufacturers same time frame most likely. 

 

expect your wallet to get balls deep action for it though

DisplayPort will work fine.

 

Probably they just copy pasted the description from one of their other monitors.
