Hi guys,

I need to buy a new mobo and have to choose between the options below:

I'm torn between a Asrock H110m-dvs r2.0 DDR4 and a Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H DDR3 motherboard. The main difference that i can see between those two is the DDR4 and DDR3 support. The h110m is a little cheaper too, about $20.

So, which one i choose?

if you are trying to use the g4560 you have to make sure the motherboard has updated bios or is b250 motherboard. otherwise you will have to flash new bios on the motherboard for it to run a 7th gen cpu. that being said its quite hard to flash knew bios on a motherboard without a working cpu so i would suggest making sure you get a b250 motherboard if you go with the g4560.

i would look to see if there are any benchmarks running an i3 or the knew Pentium on ddr4 vs ddr3 and see if there is any difference in games. there are probably some benchmarks out there for lower end cpus comparing the performance improvement by going form ddr3 to ddr4. then from that information make an informed decision.
