did u disconnect u HDD and see if it made the noise, if that does not work try to disconnect the fans and listen, then u will have to power off and plug in fan one by one to see which one it could be, it didn't really sounds like a HDD though, most HDD failures will whine,  last step if its not the fans, unplug ur gpu and boot and see if that is it. unless u can go into ur bios and if it will allow u to test ur fans

Here's the problem, it's a prebuilt, and I have a 3 year warranty, so I can't open the  case

oh ok, well since it seems like a hardware issues then there is really nothing u can really do, contact manufacture or point of sale and have the replace it, does everything boot fine, if so i will would get an external HDD and create a system image with macrium reflect or another imaging software, so if u have to get a full replacement u will not lose anything

Highly doubt that is your hard drive.  I have an old iMac (Mid 2010) that makes a similar sound.  The sound stops for a few seconds when I smack it.  The sound eventually returns, but still.  If the hard drive in the Mac were making the noise, smacking it wouldn't have done anything.

I would say that the noise is coming from a fan.

I agree with this.  Failing hard drives may also make a rapid clicking noise, almost as if someone were using a jackhammer off in the distance.

In my experience could be a couple of things, either there is a lot of dust in the CPU cooler fan or any fan for that matter causing it to be off balance, or the fan controller is throttling a fan irregularly. But if you can't open the case to troubleshoot, you'll just have to contact whoever your warranty is with and deal with it that way.
