SSD Only Partly Detected

Hmm... I've never encountered anything saying that it wouldn't format after trying to create a simple volume before like that... I would call Samsung and ask their support at this point.

I'll try it, I'm just afraid they'll feed me some marking bs on how I need to buy a USB cable & use their outdated software on the disk.

If anything, since you were going to start from scratch  you could attempt to boot up a Windows 7 ISO with JUST that disk plugged in your pc and see if windows will install on it. Otherwise I'm out of ideas, I have 3 samsung SSDs and never encountered this, sorry and best of luck!

I think I know what we missed, the Samsung Data Migration software. I can start that now but I don't know if there's enough time left in today for me so it could finish. From your experience, how long should migrating ~55GB (OS, Programs & Files) over SATA II from my 7200RPM HDD to SSD take?
