gaming monitor

hi every one i am new to pc gaming and looking for a 4k or 1440 monitor but cant chose what one get and need help  if eny of you can help with suggestions i would be gratefull my  budget is about £500 $600 usd but can can push it to about £800 $970 usd if it helps my specifications of my pc are

intel core i7 7700k

16gb of ram but will be up grading it to 32 gb at sum point

strix-gtx 1070 and will be and one more in SLI  

ASUS LGA 1151 MAXIMUS IX CODE Intel Z270 ATX Motherboard

Why you don't go for 1080p 120/144hz monitor? Better gaming experience.

System wise i would recommend a 1440p resolution rather than a 4k one.

And also a non gaming marketed one as those tend to be cheaper.

This seem to be what you need, a slight bump in refresh rate to 75 Hz which is right around where a 1070 performs in almost max settings in most games at 1440p.

At the same time non gaming with a sleek plain look to it.
