My Ryzen 1700X build!!!

JoePro87

Well, here it is. I spent WAY too much money on it, and still had to settle (was wanting the 1800X, but I doubt it would make much of a difference.  Also, I know, my cable management isn't that good. Unless someone wants to come to Indiana and help me fix it, I don't want to hear it, lol. Oh, I'm technically not REALLY done, because I had an air cooler, and I'm about to install a CoolerMaster MasterLiquid Pro 240, but aside from that...I finally got it done! What do you all think?

I got my 1700x today and from everything I saw the gap from 1700x to 1800x is like 4-5 fps, not worth it. However the jump from 1700-1700x is like 10-15% which makes more sense for the money.

That CPU 8-pin really messes with my ocd, I suppose your case doesn't have a cutout on the top?

If its long enough try routing it around the motherboard or try the old threading it under the GPU and around the rear I/O cutout trick, should be able to fasten it with a couple of zip ties.

No, it is KILLING me that it doesn't. And, it isn't long enough to do anything else with...that I can think of. But, I SHALL FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!!!

If you dont thread it around the back of the mobo tray you should be able to pass it around the motherboard, behind the GPU. If not, get some cable extensions, it's only like $20 for a 24 pin, 8 pin and PCI-e extension.

You could also cut a routing hole yourslef.

EDIT: also try passing the GPU power cable from behind the motherboard tray through the gap where the hdd case is instead of the cutout.
