Are These Good Cheap RGB Strips?

kurtstir

Hello,

I was looking to buy some cheap RGB Lights and had narrowed it down to two strips which I think would be good. Are these good strips? Opinions?

I can't speak to those specific RGB strips. But I did purchase these on amazon http://a.co/giDalll and they have worked great with no issues since September 16', I have them wrapped around my desks usually fading through all the colors or left on a purple violet color.

What application are you using them in the first option is your standard RGB SMD5050 lights and the second would be individually programmable type like the NZXT HUE+ style.

For quality it's usually a toss up so sometimes it can be great while other time longevity wise they don't last as long.

Sorry about that, The lights will be used for desk and room accent lighting to match whatever I am playing or doing at the time.

If your using an external power source like a wall adapter that would be fairly easy to setup as it's all really just plug and go. Only worry is sometimes those power adapters are not exactly good quality or safe so if you have a simple regulated 12V adapter in most cases those will be way better than what they provide in the kits.
