Hello all,

 

wonder if A full review of that line of product was done ?

 

Actually planning to build a new PC, mine is actually a little old (2011) and i wonder if those Hydro series are good ??

They have the best warranty. Anything smaller then 240mm an air cooler should be used

I love them. I have an H115i cooling my i7 7700k, and it works great. My temps are low, so I recommend it.

What about the noise ?? 

 

I am planning to go for a I7-6800K ... what about  your I7-7700K  ... was it a choice to go for a quad core instead of a six ??

They actually aren't too loud. Especially if you have headphones on, you won't hear them.

 

It was more about speed and the motherboard it ran on, but I didn't want to waste cores, as 4 is as much as you'll use in the majority of games. However on my main rig I have a 10 core lol

I prefer air coolers in general, i had a couple of H55s from Corsair and i have to admit, there are some better air coolers on that 50$~ price range, one of those is my current Zalman.

SIngle-fan rad coolers are complete trash, a Cryorig H7 would be a better buy for much cheaper, or a H5 Ultimate or R1 Ultimate for slightly more.

They are the best, I've had an H110 for more than 4 years with 2 Noctua fans and it hasn't failed me yet. You can't hear it at all.

My old rig is working with a Cooler Master V10 ( the so called calloducs + pelletiers) ... but it getting old, and i never have proof that pelltier did work !! :)

Simple rules:

After I went from a 2500K to a 2700K a few months ago, my hyper 212+ even with my delta fans couldn't keep it cool enough. I bought a H105 and it was pretty nice. However, the stock fans were kind of boring, so I went to the hardware store to get new screws and strapped on my delta fans in push / pull. It runs awesome. Under stress test, 4.9 GHz at 1.45v is around 60-64C using Intel Burn Test. Sure, it's loud, but it's fun.

 

Of course at normal load and idle, it stays quiet and really cool.
