kiwibacon

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHUAHAHA the entitlement of some people lol

your point is null and void, i had to provide proof of an invoice, s/n, and address to get an am4 bracket sent to me FOR FREE which is entirely fair, stops people abusing the system

So, if I understand this right, you applied for a replacement, were asked to enter the serial number of your PSU, refused to do so (out of laziness?), and flipped out at their support team?

Yes, you went overboard, and probably looked like a total dick too. EVGA support is legendarily good, it is completely and totally your fault.

I am not a professional. I am not an expert. I am just a smartass. Don't try and blame me if you break something when acting upon my advice.

1. ryzen crosshair board requires an 8pin and a 4pin power supply.

2. i had lost my 2nd 8pin connecter from evga G2 1000w supply

3. I asked EVGA for replacement and @ what cost, they told me to register on website and enter serial code.

4. Upon realizing that serial number is not available unless you remove power supply from case "left side of power supply supply"

5.I said to EVGA "their support s terrible and I refuse to ever buy their products."

6.Reply" I would of sent it to you for free."

...even worst than nvidia you must register if you want automatic update notifications

God forbid you have to register your product to activate a warranty with the most reliable and helpful company in the PC enthusiast business.

Grow a sack of nuts and just do the shit that you need to do to get things done and stop complaining. They will go out of their way to make everything right for you yet you're going to tell them "your support is terrible". Stop being a pansy.

If you think EVGA's customer service is terrible, I'm sorry to tell you, there is hardly a better and more helpful CS out there.

That is true because since all the big computer brands headquarters are in America and if live anywhere outside of America, customer service is going to be pretty terrible

dude you where plain rude.

wtf is wrong with undoing 4 screws to get to a PSU. or better yet. take a pic of all serial number of all parts BEFORE putting them in the PC!

use common sense. the support staff are there to help.

I believe most conversations are monitor and recorded. Looks like op's immature attitude, will be used for future training purposes.

if you have to ask, then yes you did go overboard. it took cooler master a few months to ship me pcie slot covers. that would be a reason to be mad. would have been fast and easier to look at your psu then to go and buy new cables anyways.

Well, glad everyone else identified your self-entitled, lazy, idiotic, and clueless attitude. There's really not much else to say about the matter that hasn't already been said.
