Lenovo Ideapad Y510P - Hardrive change?

Methulon

Hi Guys

I'm going to change my pc's HDD to a SSHD.

After I'm going to do a clean install, I need the OS key from microsoft.

Normally it's a sticker on back of a computer, but it's not here.

Is it programmed into my bios, or do I have to find the key somewhere else?

Thanks ;)

do you have windows 10? If so link your windows to your Microsoft account just in case, and download the windows 10 ISO from Microsoft website onto a usb. the key is usually tied to your motherboard automatically but i had it tied to my Microsoft account just in case.

What you need to do is go into computer info in windows and it should be under activationactivated-windows-8-pro.png
