Increase dedicated memory for intergrated gpu

Hello,

I can't increase the dedicated memory for my intergrated gpu on my i7-6700k(have to wait until my gtx1070 arrives)

I have tried to do it via bios by setting the share memory to 1024mb(I have 16 gb of RAM so no problem) but it still stays at 128mb...

I tried to do it with regedit and gmm key but it doesn't go above 512 mb...

My mobo is Asus Z170 Pro Gaming/Aura btw.

Intel drivers are up to date.

Any ideas?

128mb is the min. The driver will automatically let it use more ram when. It's needed.

What's the limit then? Whenever everything starts to lag? Because of all the RAM gets used up from the windows and igpu side?

your not limited by the amount of vram, you limited by the slow igpu.

Normally its 1.5gb

I'm aware that the whole speed of the igpu is important too...was just wondering about vram limit aswell

Anyways, Thank You!
