i was like quad SLI 690, IMPUSIBRUU but then i meant you had 4 cores....

Well what do you think, when you have 13 fans and 4 rads, its going to make some noise lol...

What do you guys think 4.8ghz getting 74 degrees celsius on OCCT, is that fine???? Tried to push it to 5ghz, but cant get it stabled, any suggestions? There isn't any videos on youtube on overclocking a 3970x, which suckss...

It's up to linus and slick to decide if it's worthy of build logs of the week.

 

No offense but this build just feel like you threw a truckload of money at the screen. Because most of the hardware you picked was way overkill for ANYTHING that even a professional editor would use.

Anyways nice build. I was just throwing my opinion in. I'm sure you are getting pretty good performance with it. The only thing i would be worried about is the 2gb of vram that the 690 has when playing at higher resolutions.

I aint got no worries here :)... baby dose what i need it to do, "its all or nothing."

Actually, it should be quieter provided you have a way to control all the fans--which you should.

It's a shame you used SP120's--they're pretty darn loud.

If it's set up right it should be even more silent because all those fans can run at the lowest possible speeds....
