Hi everyone,

I just built my first game PC. First I want to thank you all for all the help you gave me! I have only one question left. In the videos from LTT they show us the CPU temps etc. How can I check those temps without going in the bios?

An other less important question: where can I download the drivers for my motherboard and GPU?

Thanks!

My build:
CPU: intel core i5-7600K
CPU cooler: Cryorig h7
Motherboard: msi z270 gaming carbon
RAM: corsair vengeance lpx 16GB 3200MHz

Just now, TheRandomness said:

You can use openhardwaremonitor to monitor temps for almost everything.

This or CPUID's HWMonitor are both great pieces of software which will give you practically all the information you'll ever need. I believe you can also link them to rainmeter skins if you want applets on your desktop.

CPU: i7 4790k, RAM: 16GB DDR3, GPU: GTX 1060 6GB

AIDA64 is the best IMO i was asking the same question a couple months ago when i got into hardcore overclocking. If you want the paid version you can get the key on youtube.

Pick your flavor:

  • For CPU only: CoreTemp, RealTemp (can do GPUs), CPU-Z
  • For all: HWiNFO, Hwmonitor, OpenHardwareMonitor, NZXT CAM, Speccy, MSI Afterburner
  • Also benchmarking/stress testing: Aida64, OCCT

I have more extended listing somewhere, this is from memory.
