linus doesn't have a review ryzen?

Linus said in todays WAN show that he doesn't have a review chip from amd. I thought surely LMG would get their hands on one. Is he just lying to keep himself from accidentally saying something embargoed? Does he normally have review samples for cpus? (I've only recently started watching LTT)

He's definitely getting a review sample before the launch date/NDA so I wouldn't worry about it.

He'll get some chips however amd is quite slow on shipping stuff to him as of late

linus will get a ryzen cpu but the thing is that if you look at the other tech reviewers you will see that there isnt any ryzen samples yet
