Samsung pays Apple 1 billion dollar fine in Nickles

Psychatog

http://news-hound.net/samsung-pays-apple-1-billion-sending-30-trucks-full-of-5-cent-coins/

So apparently since Samsung was fines a billion dollars from a dispute with apply, they decided to troll them and pay with nickles. In the fine agreement, nowhere does it say it has to be 1 payment and in what amounts. Apples response wasn't that bad, they basocally said if the geeks over at Samsung wanna troll us, game on.

Old and fake news. Let's look at the math. A nickle weighs 5 grams or 0,05kg. A nickel is worth 0.05$. 1.000.000.000$ X 20 = 20.000.000.000. 20.000.000.000 X 5 grams = 100.000.000.000 grams. 100.000.000 grams / 1000 = 100.000.000 kg. 100.000.000 kg / 1000 = 10.000 tons of nickels.

A tendem axis semi-truck can carrie about 16 tons of goods. 10.000 / 16 = 625 trucks. And this is not taking the space requirement into account.

So as I see it, it would be impossible to deliver this amount of money in nickles.

Old and fake news.

Also the coins are the wrong colors and faceless (not pressed yet), which give it away that its a picture from somewhere else.

For a moment there I was really happy.

Aren't nickels even worth less as money than the material they are made from? :P

That article is dated on November 3 3013?

Wow, it's 1000 years in the future. Will Apple and Samsung ever stop suing each other?

Because I'm not a math genius, and I get confused by long number and  how many units are in other units. But I admit to making a mistake, sorry.
