Get a refurb i5 on ebay for like 200 and grab a 1060 or 1070

unless you are pretty stupid with PCs or there are users in your house that is pretty stupid

 

go used or build a cheap i3 full system for that price

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Shiit something around that price came up yesterday and it was great, 7th gen i5, 8gb Ram, and an rx480 4gb. if youre interested i'll find the link

Because some people don't want to build a PC. There are some really good pre-built ones now that cost less than their individual parts. Of course there are also total ripoffs, but not all of them.
