Pentium or i3

So im planning a build of of austin evans channel the new bozon 4.0 budget build because it is my first time building but here is my concern he was using the intel pentium G4560 but I really am going to do a little more than a pentium can handel so should i go the extra $40 or $50 dollars to get a core i3???? 

 

My specs

Evga 1050

Msi b250m pro vd

8 gigs of hyper x fury

120 gb kingston uv 400 "might go pick up a 1tb hd"

430w evga psu

G4560 is 2/4 at 3.5Ghz

i3 6100 is 2/4 at 3.7Ghz

i3 7100 is 2/4 at 3.9Ghz

 

There is a small difference between i3 7100 and G4560, but not between it and the older i3.

You can upgrade to a i7 with both a pentium and a i3. There is no benefit the the i3.

Get an Adata SP550, SK Hynix SL308, Crucial MX300, or a PNY CS1311.

A locked i7 7700 will run you around $230 and you can literally just drop it into the board no matter what processor you had before.

Get the Pentium, but get a Seasonic S12ii instead of that shitty evga and get at least an RX 470 or 1050Ti if you have to

That still doesn't matter because with the rx 470 you get MUCH better price/performance, and a better psu will actually make your computer last. Unless of course you like house fires.

Its what austin evans reccomended and its dirt cheap so i can replace it and i trust evga

Things shouldnt HAVE to be replaced. Spend an extra $15 now and get an S12ii.

 

EVGA does make good products, like the G2/G3 and P2 series. The 430W is crap though

got the i5/i7 locked procs confused, sorry. 6700 is a good deal at $300 flat tho

I mean like think about it It should run fine its not a BALLS TO THE WALL PC.
