Don't know where to post this as it falls into a few subforums.

I am buying a Dell server from a friend. I don't know what model number it is, although it is probably at least 5 years old. The server has dual 4 core xeons (8 cores, 16 threads total) and 32GB of what is probably ddr3 memory. It doesn't have any sort of GPU in it, and I don't plan on adding any powerful GPU to it any time soon.

So my question is, will this server work well to render some videos so that I can take some load off of my main PC. I often render videos while I am trying to do other CPU intensive tasks, and it slows down my computer. So will this server be able to render the videos at a half decent pace?

The video editor of preference that I will be using is DaVinci Resolve.
