So I'm new to building PC's and I wanna see if there is any kind of updates or changes I should make before ordering the parts. I plan on using it for games like Battlefield 1 and others like that at Max settings. Not 4k though. I would be ordering from the south where I live. My price range is about $1000-$1500

Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

ASRock Z270 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive

Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Video Card

NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case

The OS is Windows 10 pro and I was going for a white/red color scheme. Any comments would be appreciated

Id get a 3.5 in hdd and probably something bigger, like 1 or 2 tb

Id personally get a i7 non k stock cooler over a i5, but get what you want.

Id personally get a cheaper ssd like a mx300, its a bit slower, you save 20 bucks and you won't notice the speed difference.

IMO if you're going to spend the extra on a z270 mobo, spend the extra on a 7600k instead of 6600k.
120mm radiator will probably leave you disappointed.

There's something cool here - you just can't see it.

upgrade the CPU to an i7 last gen or go for a z170 MB. in terms of storage might wanna consider an M.2 NVME for the OS, and a SSD for the bigger stuff (games, movies and other stuff). at this point your storage is a bottleneck

here is my list https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/kenno87/saved/

that CPU with that MB... not the best combo
