I know I know, keyboard and mouse all the way...
but, some games i cant play without a controller. My PS3 controller broke this week and I need a new controller for games like Rocket League. My budget is kind of tight at the moment so I picked out a few sharp-priced controller with their respective pricing in my country:

Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller  € 35,94    By most people regarded as the best PC controller. Seems like the best bang for the buck and best controller of these in general, the only thing that has me kind of skeptical is that I have always played on playstation controllers and that i might not like the layout. If anyone faced the same situation please tell me.

Logitech F310                          € 29,99    This controller has a lot of positive reviews and has the same layout as a PS3 controller

Gioteck VX-2                            € 21,98    Cheapest controller, cant find a lot of reviews on it. If there is anyone who has this controller please tell me what you think of it.

So if anyone has faced the same situation with the playstation to xbox controller switch please tell me because that has the most influence on this decision.

Xbox 360 controller is best for compatibility, especially if you get a wired one (I'm not sure if the wireless is as compatible). Otherwise I'd get the Xbox One controller.

If you don't mind setting it up, I would take the PS4 controller though. I find its layout makes more sense than the Xbox's and it has a decent D-pad (the XB1 is better than the XB360's, but it's clicky, so it makes it hard to roll inputs)

I used both Playstation and Xbox controlers and in my opinion I would go with Xbox 360 controller. I played on PS from when the first came out and changed to xbox360 instead of getting PS3 and.. in my hands it just feels better.  Can't say anything about newer gen controllers though.
And about compatibility of wireless 360 controller. Didn't have any problems and if I want to make custom setup for example MMO it can be done as easily on Xbox and Playstation controller using xpadder.

Try to look for a used Xbox One controller, I definitely prefer their feeling in my hands opposite to xbox 360 controller (although, I loved that controler, too).

And yeah, it would be best idea to get a controller from microsoft since it would mean it's optimized well.

360 (I like the stiffer analog sticks) and xb1 controllers (lighter, better everything except the sticks).
