Hello guise, well my 780's are getting a we bit dated. I am considering an upgrade for a 1440p 144hz monitor. Red team or green team, single or sli config.

Pixio 1440p 144hz IPS free-sync no question, just under $400

From there probably just a $260 Fury card or 8GB 480 and OC it until Vega launches

GTR being the best 480 to buy for that

what is your maximum budget?

it sounds like the GTX1080 will be the good buy

or Wait for AMD Vega and decide to buy that

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Adaptive sync is a good thing to have, so you should either get a G-sync monitor, or wait for Vega. get the vega equivalent of a GTX 1080.

alternatively, if you don't want to wait, you should buy a GTX 1080
