New Phone Suggestions

So my 3 year old nexus 5 died today, the continues boot looping. Not even able to get into recovery, it doesn't seem like button issues as the program persist even while button is removed. Repairing it vai LG will probs cost more but in mean time i need replacement. The price of the phone should be ~350 AUD, the feature should be same as nexus 5 in the term of size and performance, I could grab another nexus 5 for cheap but i was hoping to get new one will finger print support and MOST importantly 'able to flash custom roms" and rooting.

Oneplus 3T has super fast fingerprint access and great dev options, so easy to unlock bootloader, root and custom recovery (does not void warranty either).

 

or Honor 6X which is cheaper but not sure about dev options, i don't think its very dev friendly like the Oneplus 3T

Nope. Oneplus 3T when converted to AUD will be way more then his budget

Google Pixel is one i would recommend. I''m planning on getting that next if my iPhone dies.
