In the us, I've noticed pretty much all the prices have gone up, even slightly. Have you seen this too? And does anyone know why? Could be because of trumps import tax?

Do you know why those two are? I've seen mobos and CPUs on the used market increasing. 80$ CPU is now 97$, 150$ mobo is now 180$ etc.

That hasn't even happened yet, so no.

Hardware prices will fluctuate depending on demand. DDR4 prices used to be super expensive when it first came out. After a while, it got less expensive than DDR3, which was amazing. Then as phones started using DDR4 the demand rose sky high, so prices went up.

Just an example.

Memory/Nand chips are becoming more expensive due to lower supply and higher demand :/

Worldwide flash shortage.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

Yeah RAM prices have been high for a while and I'm not exactly sure why.

SSD prices are up because of a shortage or NAND storage.

Hope that helps.

I've noticed this as well, but more steeply with products like Monitors. A Samsung Curved 1080p monitor that I purchased for $220 in November is now $349... Brand new, from Best Buy.

the thing with that is that when you sell it, you will have to buy new RAM against the increased prices.

so no, now is not the time to sell unfortunately.

I'm not planning to upgrade, and I'm not using DDR4. The only time I will upgrade is when intel offers a nice 6c 12t cpu, or amd, whichever. which is prob gonna be after cannonlake.
