So I made a thing. Is it good? Tell me what I can improve on. Should I wait for zen or get kaby lake? Also couldn't find many cheap motherboards for kaby lake, why is that? Do I need a wireless network adapter?

Most of your build looks pretty solid. I'd suggest getting an ssd boot drive if you can but if you can't it's not the end of the world. I would however highly suggest getting a seasonic budget power supply over a budget evga power supply

Ya here, the G4560 will be fine for 60hz gaming, letting you put the money into a Z270 board which means you can get an i7 7700K, rather than being stuck with locked CPUs and an i5 which is a bit unnecessary for 60hz gaming now in most games

of course to take the i7 7700K to 5ghz you'd want a 240mm AIO with it

Otherwise wait for Ryzen, when were you going to build the PC?

8GB 480s have gotten pretty cheap, might as well spring for one

much better PSU here

Will I still be able to play Overwatch at 1080p 60 fps? I was kinda trying to go for a red and black theme so thats why my motherboard, GPU and memory were red. I will purchase another stick of 8 gb memory on black friday but I will build this pc during April.

You have the money for 16gbs of fast memory now, just buy it to avoid issues

100fps here with the i3 6100 and a 1060

and the 480 gets 136fps here at ultra, settings above were epic, so you may hit a slight bottleneck, but it's not really going to matter at 100fps

please don't get a fucking pentium, that pentium will hate GTA V. and I'd really recommend waiting for ryzen.

this build will easily smash 1080p on AAA titles

What about a i3 7100?

hmm I guess for 1080p thats a pretty good build. I would still go with https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZnqCgL  just because of the 1060 but if you want kaby lake go for it. still recommend waiting for ryzen. that seems like such a popular thing to say

That i3 is only .4ghz faster than the G4560, if the G4560 isn't available and you're getting it right away, go for the G4600, otherwise if you're waiting a while, you should wait to see Ryzen, since AMD will most likely offer a true 4core CPU at a similar price to an i3, also all the Ryzen chips are unlocked meaning they can be OC'd, in addition if I remember right, you don't need the "Z270" equivalent chipset on AM4 to overclock, so you could end up with a mid range board that can handle a mild OC

the X370, B350(Mid range H270 equivalent), and X300(ITX board optimized I think) support overclocking

and if you're getting the 8GB card you're going to want the 480 for the extra performance

or try to find the XFX GTR, it's about the best 480, though jay may have gotten a pretty golden chip

No one should buy the 3GB 1060, and the 480 already caught up in DX11, and scales better with DX12/Vulkan in well implemented games

the 480 just stomped in RE7 as well, dunno if driver improvements for nvidia have happened in that title, but VRAM seems pretty important in that game

If it's using the new or a newer wraith cooler, which it fucking better, you might be able to get something done

AM4 has a new mounting bracket, the big name heatsink makers like coolermaster have already promised free AM4 brackets in some cases, I'm waiting until it just comes in the box for something like the Master Liquid Pro 240

Also isn't waiting going to give you a bigger budget in the end?

If you find something like a case or hard drive/SSD on sale it's going to be a good idea to pick it up
