650D Refresh

Jimstah87

So after a year I've decided to change things a little bit. Basically wanted to tidy it up, get rid of things they seemed a bit unecessary though were cool at the time, like the green loop which served no purpose other than looks, I added then the spare pump from that loop into the main loop so having 2 pumps in the main loop now making for a bit of fail protection. I repositioned the SSD's so now they're both at the back stacked on top of each other, I think they look really good together like this. My PSU is currently off get fixed under warranty cause I was having issues with the system turning on. I tried another PSU and it worked fine so it wasn't anything to do with the mobo or power switch, if you were wondering why it isn't here in these pics. Sorry about the lighting I'm going to add some better pictures once I have my PSU back and all the lighting wired back up. I'm thinking of buying a 200mm radiator for the front to add to the loop, will help over summer here which get to 35C on average. Will post pics if I do. Do you's think the front looks better without the fan controller?

Anyway any Q's feel free to ask, any thoughts on the system or ideas are welcomed. Thanks for checking out my post.

It's still such a great build man, love it! I love the case too, it's one of the options I've been considering picking up.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the comment. Would you get the 650D if you can still get them in your area or you mean your looking at getting the 750D? I like the 750D for it's extra radiator options however I do not think my bay res would look good in it the way the front 5 1/4 drive bays are styled. I still love my 650D, reckon I'll be keeping it for a long time still, such a great case to work in. Once I get a 200mm rad for the front it should be performing really well. Next project anyway looking forward to it.

I remember when you first built this rig, it was very nice but this is a huge improvement! I love it. :D

DIY: Get a big marker and color the 840's red square, please :P

Really nice carbon finish.

Cheers mate, though I don't think I could colour in the red square on the SSD, I've always like the look of the black n' orange accent samsung have used too much I guess.

Really beautiful, but those case badges ruin if for me.

Thanks mate, yeah I'm quite surprised in how many people have said the same thing. I've never really thought about taking them off since I built it though I guess it would make it look cleaner and that is what I am going for here, might give it some thought, thanks for the post mate!
