Is there any search engine to find a laptop based on your criteria?

LaptopPartPicker. But leaves ALOT of holes. I feel like based on what you've given me, you could go for a second hand T530 or T520.

That being said I'm looking for a laptop with a graphics card and a 4 core 8 thread cpu. I'd probably be buying a used striped model from ebay and then adding my own ram/ssd. I'm just looking for a cheap laptop to see if I can stay with a really low price but get a kick ass laptop.

(Right now I'm using a samsung aviv 4. 8gb ram, hdd, 2.6 to 3.2 ghz i5 3230m cpu) It really isn't hard to find a laptop that meets the description, I just have no idea where to start. I shot out some google searches, but I couldn't really find any sticky terms.

Try Google again?

It really is quite flexible just keep adding search terms to reduce the number of results

I have nothing nice to say.

The results are Xeon cpu comparisons, 1 laptop, this post, and deal websites.

Edited to add the second page of results:

How to play overwatch on reddit,  a mac mini wiki article, hackintosh wiki, comparing old laptop battery sizes in hp elite books, playing a game called GalCiv,

Edited to add I clicked your link, the above stands. .com vs .co.uk
