Lol how the hell are you going to notice the difference between 144hz and 199hz?  No modern game is going to show that many fps.

Siege shows me 200fps with a GTX 980... And how am I going to notice? I can notice the difference between 144 and 165, and 165, and 180, that's also asking why they even made 144hz instead of just using 120hz because "you can't tell the difference" and if so, why do you need 240hz compared to 180hz? Point is, you can tell, it's difficult, but you can, it also gives you a couple less ms between each frame, and for games like CS:GO it can mean life or death.

Given that it takes several milliseconds (some say up to 100) for the eye to even process an image, I doubt that 2ms is going to make a difference in how well you play.

I'm well aware that there is a difference between 120hz and 144hz.  My point is that unless you have an incredibly high end build, you aren't going to be able to pull off 199fps on any AAA title.

You mean this one? http://pcpartpicker.com/product/PmyFf7/acer-monitor-umfg6aab01

I'm pretty sure that does not go to 199hz. It is just 144hz. Do you have one or have a link?

I said it OVERCLOCKS to 199, and its rock solid stable.

Hmm, A GTX 1080 at 1080p, sure incredibly high end, but even a 970 at medium settings can do that

Yeah, how do you know? I have never heard of someone getting that overclock.

A friend did it, and showed me the overclock. So I ended up buying it as well cuz 144 is for scrubs. And I got it to 199 as well. We might have been just super lucky, but it's worth noting.
