Cheaper macbook pro alternative

Hi!

I'm looking for a cheaper MacBook pro alternative that looks like the 2015 MacBook/razer blade but not as expensive that is good for school. Thanks in advance!

Although it's only slightly less expensive (depending on what model you get) the Dell XPS 13 is a really nice laptop. Costs around $1000-$1300 with decent specs and really nice build quality. My personal daily driver is the Microsoft Surface Book and I'm absolutely loving it. That one's about the same price as a base model MacBook Pro 13", though, so maybe out of your budget.

I agree with getting an older model as an alternative--you'll even get more functionality with less "courage".

Dell XPS 13

I wouldn't really call either of them "cheaper" than a macbook...do they have a lower price than a macbook pro? Yep but IMO, it's not significant enough if OP wants OSX :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Well, he did ask for an MBP alternative. For me, that means he's looking for similar if not equal build quality (which is hard to get on Windows laptops) and speed, portability, etc. for a lower price so please, do enlighten me with your cheaper alternatives that have those attributes and are cheaper than $1000.

Macbook air.

I am serious. Great battery life that one has. With 8GB of ram enough for everyday usage.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
