We all know that beats are over priced. I am just curious as to how far the price would have to drop before you even give them a thought to buying them. I'd say between 30-40%.

I wouldn't use them unless I was paid to. The stigma around using them is enough for me not to use them no matter the price. Also I don't like the general look of them.

If they weren't a gaudy fashion statement and expensive neckwarmer I would probably consider paying around ~100$.

Note there have been cases where multiple reviewers have claimed that some of the Beats knockoffs actually sound better than the real Beats in a case of imitation being more real than the authentic.

I have a pair of fake beats that I got for $20 just for shits and giggles and they are actually better than real beats

But to answer the original question I would never the over ears (they are uncomfortable and break easily)

I would pay $100 for the over ears just because of notice canceling

And I would never buy the pros because they are uncomfortable

I would buy some Beats Pro for maybe $80. I would like to have some headphones I feel comfortable bringing in public, and aren't terrible. I feel like Beats are like Apple products, they aren't necessarily bad, it's just the price absolutely does not justify the quality. I would buy a Macbook if they were like $500-700 for a 13" model with Intel HD 4000 and an i5 or something with similar specs. I can't see myself paying anywhere near $1200 for that.

The beats I've listened to (think they had $380-90 on them) were worse than the $50 Sony's. Thus I don't pay attention to beats or their model numbers. So there you have it, I would not pay more than $50 for them.
