Two monitors on pi help

I need some help putting two monitors on my pi desktop running Ubuntu mate

The one it's connected to right now has vga, that white one, and HDMI 

Going HDMI from that monitor to my pi 

The other one is a bit older and just has the white connector and VGA

you could get a usb display adapter, but i think that will cost much more than the pi itself

White VGA? Are you talking about DVI?
