Graphics or Frames?

ManOfDisguise

Do you like playing games maxed out or almost maxed out andjust enjoy the beautiful graphics as an awesome plus point to an awesome story or a big open world? Or are you all about being competitive and getting the drop on your enemy, where you will sacrifice graphics to even the lowest settings to get ultra smooth gameplay? Do you play for the experience or do you play to alwaysbe on top of your game?

Now I know a lot of you have very powerful rigs and can play games all maxed out at 120fps or so....but that dont count here! :P

A happy medium. I personally want as much graphics as I can while maintaining 40-50FPS

i would prefer graphics cause of it's just mind-blowing when you run around in games and everything is on max even though you might only get 30fps. haven't you ever got mind-blowed how cinematic some games on the market is?

Both, there's no immersion because of max graphics if you're playing at 12 fps. Generally I never want to go under 60 fps, but don't care about anything above that. I guess it's not fair though, as I have one of those high end rigs.

I love Graphics but wont stand for choppy fps. one of the first things i will do if this happens is cut the shadows down or the AA down from say.. x4 > x2

40-50 fps, avoid frame dips. Other than that maxed. Crysis 3 on a 770 for example runs around 25 @maxedoutfreaky with dips. That's unbearable with a gaming PC. Rather step down the AA and Filtering for 40 fps

who cares...

I think so too, but i think it's all about frametiming, you can have fps as low as 20 and still be able to play and enjoy the game if the frametiming is aswsome. (my gta iv with tons of mods)

what system do you use? (gpu cpu)
