Recently, my work pc which is featured in my profile basically died, don't know what happened to it but it doesn't work anymore. This topic isn't about repairing it, it's about creating a new pc. The one featured below is the one i need comments on, Im still undecided on the case, mobo, and cpu - veering for a white nzxt case on this build, but if there are any other white cases with a psu shroud that look sleek pls leave it in the comments. There is no max budget for this computer as my work is paying :) MAINLY USED FOR PROGRAMMING - SERVER ADMINISTRATION - AND LOTS AND LOTS OF COMPILING - FASTER THE BETTER (NOT TOO EXTREME THO, NO X PROCESSORS FOR NOW, STICK TO K's OR XEONS)COLOUR SCHEME SHOULD BE WHITE AND BLACK

Phanteks P400S, another nice looking case. Or the Enthoo Evolv ATX, i think that comes in white.

it should be really clean - like corsair carbide or s340/h440 clean

What do you mean by "clean"? no stupid lines/edges/curves? both the p400s and evolv atx are like that :P

Or do you mean super simple rectangle box, all flat sides?

already tried - seems like everything is shorted out - psu is dead - cpu and mobo too - storage also doesn't work for some odd reason and the ram didn't work on another system - besides my company's paying and i only pay for half and get to keep it - so it's a win win

nothing that looks like the front of the phanteks luxe - also, i would prefer only glass on one side so my shoddy cable management doesn't get seen

Get a 1070 or a 1060 over that 1080, its price isn't good.

i7-6850K and an MSI X99 SLI PLUS, which I think would look pretty good with the other components. Or you could wait for Ryzen benchmarks.

Also, have you considered M.2 storage?

Eh the s340 is probably your best bet then. I'm very happy with mine and how easy it was to build in.
Or even the H440 if you want a bigger case.

i would get a samsung m.2 drive - sure, the storage isn't the issue its just a placeholder - i just clicked on the first i saw - but the important part is the case, cpu, mobo and the case fans - hovering between thermaltake, nzxt or corsair
