Monitor overclocking

Pr0pagandalf

I'm thinking about overclocking my rather old 1080p 60hz monitor and in the monitor's manual it says its vertical refresh rate is  56 Hz - 76 Hz. What does this mean?

(monitor is a philips 274E)

That means you can put the refresh rate to 76hz, though I recommend 75.

Just be sure to never go over that. You're lucky in that the manual says anything other than 60, and even defines the hard limit. Just be warned that it will run hotter and colors might not be the same.
